When it comes to speaking, Mike is always speaking. He is Pastor of an English-speaking church in Sosua, and leading various English-speaking Bible study groups on the north coast of the D.R.
Mike is teaching weekly to Pastors as part of the Bible College, of course he uses an interpreter for this. He has some very good interpreters who can keep up with him and sometimes go ahead of him.
Mike is teaching almost every morning and every night to the various mission teams that come from all over the country. He leads many of the mission service classes and evening ministry times.
Mike is speaking in the spring and fall in the United States. Most of these events are for Pregnancy Resource Centers. Mike has long been an advocate for the PRC movement and written quite extensively about their work and ministry. His own adoption story and that of Chapman's prove to be an excellent fit for the PRC ministries. The gifts from these fine PRC's provide the funding base for the Dominican Mission work. We are thankful for God's provision in this matter.
Mike also speaks for New Missions on various occasions throughout the United States. They have him share his humor and heart for missions and share the opportunity to see first hand the work of New Missions in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
